What’s K CRAFTWORK JAPAN?

  • K CRAFTWORK JAPAN is the official EC site of MINASE.
  • It is a collaborated shop between Engraver KEIJI KANAGAWA and Kyowa Seiko (the manufacturer of MINASE).
The store showroom is located in Akihabara, Tokyo.

Mr. Kanagawa is a world-famous watch engraver from Japan. With unparalleled talent, he can engrave almost any watch part, including the movement, dial, case, rotor, back lid, and clock hands. Utilizing design skills honed during his career as a designer, he is acclaimed for both his techniques and designs in and out of Japan, and has been involved in various engraving work for renowned overseas brands as well.

Aiming to “manufacture products that will be treasured for more than 100 years,” Kyowa is involved in all phases of making the MINASE series of mechanical watches, from design and development to manufacture. “Impressed by the delicate mechanism and style of MINASE watches, I immediately wanted to engrave them,” said Mr. Kanagawa when he contacted us, which resulted in our collaboration. We will supply the MINASE models and watch parts to him, then he will engrave them at the workshop K CRAFTWORK JAPAN. Visitors to the workshop can watch his engraving up close. The annexed store holds regular exhibitions of his works, and sells various goods including his works.
